"Yeah Docle sounds good. I need a new one, my brother got coffee on it and trust me, I never forgave him!" That was accompanied by a very normal laugh. Not one of those annoying tinkly ones. They clicked along to the jewelry store. Lily was in need of some new rocks. "Oh crap! I need to get my dress! Do you guys need to?"

"Party! I lovee my parties. They are never black tie and atleast one person get into some kind of fight. You guys are coming right?I sent E-vites...Ah. Contillion dresses. Mine is being shipped in from france...and Adrienne from Russia. Her mother made hers. Mine is from an auh-mazing little shop. The dress that I used for the design sells around 500...then added with the all the stuff I did to it...15,000 I think was my total. The cluch and shoes included. Fair price to pay. "
Eugh. Her party. She did have a skirt. She had the halter and the shoes, and the earrings she was going to wear but not the skirt. She had gone to just about everywhere to...

Rachel looked at Lily. Was she insane or something? Cotillion was in three days! Everyone got their dresses at least a month in advance. "Yes, I have mine already." She said with a tiny hint of disapproval. Just enough so that Lily would take note.
"Oh, really?" Rachel smiled at Madz's comment about the dress. There was a girl that knew what she was doing, style-wise. "Mine is being flown in from Switzerland. There was an adorable little shop on the Via Porpino, between Switzerland and Italy... I had to reserve it. It's Dior by John Galliano, and the clutch matches. The shoes are Blahnik. Where else?" Rachel grinned. Her dress was one thing she was sure of. They had arrived at the jewelry store Madz was speaking of.
Rachel opened the door and stepped inside, looking around. There was actually a tree growing in the center of the shop, with a tinkling fountain built around it. Glittering glass-and-mahogany cases were polished until they gleamed, and filled with amazing pieces of jewelry. The shop was small, but undoubtedly remarkable. Rachel went there often, though mostly admiring. Lauren had once picked out her wedding ring in that store.

"Rae? Are you here?" Liz said in a raised voice. A tiny Mexican women came thought the back door and smiled at Liz.
"Ah. I have been wait you." She said in broken English with a thick accent. "I got it right here," She held out a box, "Diamonds are imports, Princess cut, and i checked it myself. Liz smiled and went for her purse, she pulled out a matching wallet and scanned the credit cards. Ah. Her plastic. Liz probably the second richest girl in the OC, of not the first. She knew she was richer then Lauren. Just because she didn't flaunt as hard as the girls do, didn't mean she wasn't highly loaded. Liz flung a pink Visa with picture of Sparkle on it. The women took one look at it, pushed it back and went to go punch in numbers. Yea. That's sad. When the store owners have memorized you credit card number. "I'm done. " Liz said and opened the box. It really was perfect.

Lauren strided out of the store she had just been in. Over in a far corner near Dolce she spotted a cute little boutique...more shopping maybe? She felt her phone vibrate and she fumbled around in her big purse for her phone. Her hand clamped onto her silver razr and she flipped open the cover. She didn't recognize the number and almost decided to just leave it, no such look. Lauren was curious. " Hello?" She mumbled into the phone. A fast, high pitched voice almost immediately squacked into the phone. Maybe Lauren shouldn't have picked it up.." I'm . Lauren quickly shut the phone off, that voice could have driven anyone to insanity. She furrowed her brows trying to remember her family participating in any magazing thing, then the memory raced into her head, it had been a while ago and Lauren hadn't really known what her family was all smiling for when the Camera man took that picture. Lauren was contemplating the idea that maybe..she should talk to Rachel, Yeah she left a message on her phone but eveybody knew that people like Rachel and Lauren didn't usually listen to their messages. Wait, what the fuck. Lauren almost spat out her coffee and her moth hung wide open with her eyes staring wide over at Rachel? With Lily and Liz? Could that been more of a mismatched friendship. Lauren was done and had no desire for shopping anymore, this thing with Rachel was a stupid, stubborn mess. If Rachel wasn't going to fix then I guess Lauren had to do something. But what? What was she going to do, barge in on their little shopping splurge and just take Rachel away with her. Hah think again. Anyway something had to be done and it was happening now.

Rachel flashed her bright, straight white teeth at Rae and recieved a toothy smile of her own, as well as a little wave. Rachel had been in this store before, chiefly because of the emerald-cut diamonds in her ears--thirteenth birthday present--and a set of diamond bangles from her father for a sixteenth birthday gift.
Well, in addition to a black BMW convertible, of course. And a two-hundred-thousand dollar party with guests that included Mischa Barton, Josie Maran, Nicky Hilton, Beyonce, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Drew Barrymore, and Cameron Diaz. That had totally been the party of the year. Plus, that organza Vera Wang cocktail dress was amazing.
Rachel looked around the store, spotting Lauren, who was staring at her with something that was--oddly--venom. Wierd. If her supposed best friend wanted to talk, though, she'd have to walk up. People talked to Rachel. Rachel didn't talk to people. She tossed her hair behind her shoulder lightly, walking along the glass cases. There was a gorgeous twisted-black-and-white pearl-and-diamond bracelet that Rachel loved, as well as a pair of star sapphire earrings and a chunky ruby-and-white-gold choker.
Totally fabulous.
She glanced at E.V. handing over her plastic, looking slightly smug. Didn't everyone when they realized they could buy something ten times as expensive as they needed? She knew, though, that E.V.'s family was about the third-richest in the County. The order on the 'Classiest' list showed that a bit. Rachel and Lauren's families had almost the same net worth, give or take a few hundred thousand. It switched around depending on the time.

Lily rushed to get her phone out of her pocket. Quickly, she dailed her Aunt in France. Lily had her eye on this really cute white dress. Very feathery. She fails connecting to her then finally, talking like she wanted a trophy in speed talking. In the end, she would have one, if it was an actuall contest.
