"Yea. I'm just a goddess like that." Adrienne was stripping down to her swim suit. Not that there was much work involed there. Then, in an out of herself moment, Adrienne took a running start into the water. Dropping herslef into the water, she lets out a playfully, "Loser, C'Mon".

Jeremy raised his eyebrows, pulling down his jeans to reveal dark blue Ralph Lauren board shorts. Not the tight kind, though. Dammit, he had to leave something to the imagination.
Adrienne's "I'm-a-goddess-worship-me" comments were getting a bit annoying. Jeremy decided to do the usual. He walked at his own pace toward the ocean, doing a neat--and splashy--dive into the ocean.

Things were going as planned. This was going to be her normal hook up. No worries. First the call from Jackson, that was un planned. That messed her up. But she was recovering. Soon he should hate her. Then her work started. Just was ponering this as she swam, hiting Jeremy in the shulder wih her head. Ow much.

Jeremy came up, rubbing a hand through his hair. He realized that this girl was playing him hot and cold, and he wasn't going to let her do that. Jeremy had a plan, as always. His smirk stayed the same, but inside his mind was turning, wheels working.
He smiled at Adrienne, moving a little closer to her in the water.

Wait? What the fuck? Was he advancing on her? Then something hit her. This was Jeremy. The mothafucking male version of her. In her head she was banging her head aginst a pole yelling 'YOU IDIOT'
Ok. New plan. Then she realized she had no plan. Fuck. You can't just wing a hook up? Can you? She, of all people, didn't know. This would be like trying to get in bed with herself. Damnit.
Coming up from the water Adrienne looked at him, deciding what to do next. Hot or Cold, or Flow? Flow.

Jeremy smirked, stepping a little bit closer--again--to her in the water. "I like you. A lot." He murmured softly as he moved closer--inching--forward. Then he wrapped his arms around her, looking down at her face.

Lightbuld! Insta-Plan! A little something she picked up, not to long ago, as in, five seconds ago. Wheels turned. He had to be planning too. Mawa! He's in for a ride. Then, sitting back on her hunches, her head just above the water, she said two words, that should indeed put them back to square 1, or at least close.
"Prove It."

He stepped back. "Why?" He said, not falling for this. He stepped toward her again, lips hovering a few centimeters above hers. "Does it need proving?" He grinned, looking down at her, daring her. That was just fucking Jeremy.

Square 1. Oh, She's good. "Yea, It does. Why? You can't..." Adrienne shruged, either whatever. If he had told the truth about who he was, then he was lying. She'd doen that, twice. And livedto regert it. 'cause she got hurt. Bad. Jackson. 'Augh!' She yelled mentally, banishing those thought. Fuck him. "C'mon Jeremy. Whatca scared of? Rejection..." Ha. The R word. Cha, right.

Okay, he was a little pissed now, but he definitely wasn't going to give Adrienne that. She was taunting him--Rachel would be calling her a whore by now. But she was self-proclaimed anyway. "Scared? Nah." He said, chuckling a little to himself. This girl was naive. She didn't know. "You think we're so alike--you should know the answer. I'm not afraid of rejection." He stepped a little back, not willing to give up a kiss just yet. Her plans were maniacal, and they sickened him a little. "Why should I prove anything to you when this will ultimately be meaningless? Is it power?" He questioned lightly, still close enough to smell her, watch her. Jeremy could get anything he wanted--anyone, actually--and he was one guy that didn't like a challenge. Didn't Adrienne see that to Jeremy, she was just another girl? Another hookup? He could go fuck another of the hottest girls in the O.C. right after her, if he wanted to.

Adrienne crossed her arms. Hello, Was he on crack. "Your not into me, honey. So don't say you are. You know what you want. So get it, quit playing around. This is getting old." Adrienne took all will power to just tell him to leave it. He's got other whores.
"If I you needed you toprove that you were int me, I would. But you don'tneed to. So, are we gonna give it a go?"

Ooh, she was daring. He had crossed her line, apparently. Perfect. "First off--don't call me honey. I'm not one of those little bitches that is so clearly following you around. You said you wanted a hook-up, one you didn't have to work for--so quit playing mental games with me. I'm not a flunkie. I know what you're doing, and why are you doing it? For your own personal kicks, or something fucked up and maniacal like that?" He shook his head, his smile fading. "I was into you. I was gonna give it a go. But not now." He shrugged, getting out of the water and walking away, off towards the towel. He grabbed his jeans and T-shirt, heading to the car, slamming the door, driving away.

Following him out, and dropping herself on the ground after her pulled off, and then mumbled out of spite. "'Cuz I can." She said with a shrug. The second she finished her phone began to vibrate in her bag. Pulling it out, she didn't bother checking to see who it was. "Helllo...." Was all she said, until she almost broke out into tear. "Yea. Bye." She said, scooping her stuff up, and dropping her fun on the pavement, only to drive one of her heels into the middle of it.
This was nice. Isabelle. That bitch who stole her man has called to tell her what they named the baby. Adrienne. How motherfucking nice of them. Adrienne started down the street, she was going to walk home, or get picked up by an OC pretty boy. Whatever happened first was just fucking fine with her.

Jeremy cruised along the streets of the O.C., running over the events of the day in his mind. He was pissed, sure, but he didn't have a selective memory. He had an honest one, and remembering with Jeremy usually involved good and bad.
Adrienne did all that because she could? No, not really. Jeremy was learning they were different. Adrienne flaunted the fact that she was hot, but she also played mental games. Maybe it was because of insecurity that guys needed to prove they wanted her. Couldn't she just fucking figure it out for herself? Jeremy was generally straightforward. He liked to make girls want him, but that was different than making them prove themselves. Eventually, Jeremy came to the conclusion that Adrienne had a fucked up past--as brutal as his--and she didn't really know herself anymore.
It meant nothing to him. Jeremy Schellenberg had no regrets. End it here, Madz. <33
