Channel walked into her back yard and shut the sliding glass door. She had a virgin Martini in her left hand and her Pod in the other. It was a virgin Martini because her parents were home and she didn't want to give them another my kid is an acholic scare. She slowly made her way to her pool to tan. Her brown string bikini barely covered anything. She sat down her drink on one of the tables by the day folding chair and than got onto it and layed down. She put her huge brown Chanel sunglasses on and was ready to go after she put her head phones in her ears and cranked them up. The words drowned out all of her sorrows. |

Yick, I am so pissed off.
That was all Rachel could think when she got up in the morning. She was so freaking mad at Lauren. Who did that girl think she WAS, when Rachel had pratically made her life? It was so ahn-noying, but it really didn't matter much in the scheme of things. What about cotillion? She still had nobody to take, and god forbid she should appear vulnerable.
So she had decided to go the Stone's house, preferably to see Channel. Only Channel because Rachel definitely didn't want to see Nick with his shirt off right now, because that would only make her feel more messed up.
Rachel had thrown on black leggings and a pea green Lauren Moffat eyelet babydoll dress. Her shoes were lime green patent leather Blahnik peep-toe pumps. A girl's gotta gave great shoes!
The driver had brought her over, and that was where she was currently--standing on the stoop. She adjusted her black leather Balenciaga hobo bag on her shoulder, reaching out a thin arm to ring the doorbell. |

Danny decided to go hangout at Channels... maybe rum into Ryan if he is there. But he really didnt care, and didnt think it would really matter whether he showed up to Channels pool thing... well, he hoped not.
ANyways he had on his new Abercrombie Brown and White trunks and a brown polo. He had his hair buzzed, so he didnt have to push it out of his way anymore.
Danny pulled up to her house in his none other than white truck, he got out and casually shut the door slipping on his black sun glasses holding his cell phone and keys. He locked the car and walked up to the door making noise with his brown leather flip flops, he saw Rachel and smiled at himself then yelled out"Hey" to her with a wave as he approached her.

Jake walks into the side gate next to the house, "Hey Channel, How You doing? Mind if I come in" Jake just walks in anyway wearing a Blue shirt with his Picture on it saying "My picture is on this shirt so it makes this shirt sexier than you" and some blue swimming trunks as he walks over to Channel and takes a big glup of her Martini, "Needs more kick to it" Jake takes a seat next to her and takes out his shirt as the sun's rays shines of he's hot sexy abs and 6 pack, "Well anyway, Are the people in the front your friends? The girl is hot, but isn't my type." |

Ryan parks his BMW in Channels driveway. He just got back from his surf compition. He is wearing his billabong boardshorts and he has a plain tee shirt on. He approaches the gate of Channels back yard to see her on a chair. He walks tward the chair to sit by her.

Channel looked over at Jake. Her glasses framed her tan smooth face. She lifted them up a bit and said "Theres people? Here?" She hadn't heard the bell at all. /Isn't our maid supposed to deal with these things? She is getting kind of lazy./
Channel got up and said "Well, since our maid is a dumb ass I guess I will have to go and get it." She than made her way toward her front door from the side gate. She saw Danny and Rachel and waved to them as she called out "Hey guys! I was in the back. The maid was supposed to get it but the bitch is getting lazy so just come on in. My and Jake are already in the back." She than left the side gate open and thought /Hmm I wonder why all of them decided just to show up./ |

Rachel saw Danny and offered a thin, nervous smile.
Then Channel opened the door.
Thank the lord.
One thing Rachel did NOT need was an awkward moment--there had been too many of them. Danny was gorgeous, and sweet... all the things that were perfect. But he just wasn't for her, and she had no idea why.
"Hey, Channel!" Rachel air-kissed the blonde on each cheek, stepping in and out to the pool. |

Channel layed back down and than heard Ryan. She spit up her drink and said "What?" /Oh man oh man...I havent been asked out in a while./ She than sat there shocked for aobut three minutes. |

Jake get up and yell inside the house "Maria, Get Off you Fat Ass And Answer the door, oh and can you make me a martini like Channel's, Thank You Bitch!" Jake get up and walks over and looks at Channel " I love talking to your maid like that, I would get punched in the face if I said that to my mom, Oh I called Ryan to come over, I know how you LOVE him" Jake turns around and starts to run over to the pool and trips over a rock and bumps his arm on the side of the pool and falls in with a big KEPLUNK!!!!

Rachel watched the semi-pathetic exchange with no real interest, unzipped and taking off until she was wearing only her white-and-turquoise-crochet Gucci string bikini. She shivered against the cloudy sky, wrapping her arms around herself.
Her ears perked up as Nick shot Ryan a death glare. What was that all about? |
