Hands in pockets, the thin framed by called Tyler sulked his way toward the boardwalk. Catching no glimpse of the person he was supposed to be meeting, he let out a deflated sigh and leaned against a rather rickety looking post. Hearing it creak beneath him, he groaned a little and pulled himself off of it.
What should he do until she got here? He didn't know. He didn't want to talk to any of the people already hear--he didn't know them. He probably didn't want to know them. But he'd keep that lovely little fact to himself.
Tugging down upon the shirt he was wearing--a black one bearing the band name Misfits in green--Tyler looked around some more. For a while, he occupied himself with the wondering of why he didn't come here more often.
And now that he was thinking, he wondered--did he and Noelle even have that much time to talk and hang out? Wasn't she supposed to be getting ready for that cotillion thing? And wasn't he...supposed to be finding a tuxedo? Haha. Oh well. He'd just borrow one of his dad's.

Noelle's gaze scanned the face's of others. She'd come straight from being with Lauren, so she was still wearing that Chanel dress. The creme colored silk one, with the bottom that had a black lace trim, with flowers, and it reached about her knees, if not just above. Right under her breasts there was more of the black lacy fabric that made it bunch up a bit right there. And right above her breasts there was the same black lace, making the straps one of a tank-top, and about three of her fingers were the width of the straps. Finally spotting Tyler she smiled a bit as she made her way over to him. "Hey." she said with a smile as she stopped beside the boy that was leaning against the post..

"Um. Well...we don't have much time to do anything. I don't think. So. I guess this was kind of a bust. But it was nice seeing you. And all that stuff," Tyler stammered, light pink tinting the apples of his cheeks. Reaching up to touch his lip, he glanced past her, out at the sea. Good thing he wasn't going to try and surf today. The ocean was so flat--it wasn't even funny. What kind of expression was that, anyway? It wasn't even funny. It was never funny. Not in the first place, and not now. Stupid, stupid expression. For a stupid, stupid boy.

"Yeah...kinda I guess." Noelle replied as she bit her bottom lip lightly for a moment as she looked away for a second then. "But hey...we can make the most of the time we have..right?" she said then as she tucked back a strand of hair from her face and looked back to Tyler then as she waited for a response.

"Yea, that sounds good," said Tyler, small grin gracing his features for a second or two. Nibbling at his lip, he glanced down, then back up. He didn't know what to do. This was a bad idea. Again. Stupid boy.

"So umm...what should we do?" She said then with a small laugh, almost nervous. Woah...back up. Almost nervous? That wasn't Noelle at all. Weird dude...totally weird.

"I really don't know," he admitted quickly, shrugging. "I didn't really think about much while planning this. Just that we'd hang out and have a good time," he said, chuckling a little bit. "I'm not very organized so...I guess I should never be left to figure stuff like that out."

"Yeah guess not." Noelle replied in a serious tone but partly teasing of course. "Well..." she said then as she looked around a little bit. "We could start walking and then see if something exciting happens, and I'm sure that there is a fourty-fiver percent chance that something exciting will happen but we can give it a shot." she suggested then, a little bit unsure though of her suggestion.
