A hand ran through her hair as she slid into a chair at a table. A Pop magazine opened on the table in front of her, and Noelle slowly flipped the pages. Picking up the cup of tea she soon took a sip and returned it to it's place on the table and then went back to her magazine. She really wasn't planning on spending much time here, just enough time to finish her tea, and hopefully her Pop. A dark brown Aquascutum dress was worn. The top half was sleeveless, and fit her upper half but then fell loose down to her knees. Beading was also at the top of the dress, around the neck lining and covering only half the straps of the dress. The beading was of lighter brown and creme. A pair of beige suede and bronze strapped wedge. The shoes by Scorah Pattulo were worn on her feet. She continued to look over the pictures in the Pop which lay out out in front of her, and taking small sips of her tea. She was sidetracked from both for a moment as she heard her phone and pulling out the sidekick quickly checked her messages and then set the phone down on the table next to her cup of tea. As she sat there, Noelle wondered if she'd soon be getting company. Her eye make-up was darker today then how she normally wore it. A dark brown eyeliner was worn, almost to the point where it was black and her eyelashes were greatly enhanced by some mascara. Besides that, little make-up was worn as normal and just some chapstick was on her lips.

These days everyone was confusing him. Right off the bat was Lauren. What was with her? One moment she wanted him, wanted only him, and she was deciding how best to seduce him. The next second she was walking about and willing off tears?! Jeremy called himself slick--but here was one of these situations where he thought the cooties might be diseasing girl's brains.
Rachel was scaring him as well. She had come down today to get her coffee at nine o'clock, and she had been humming. Rachel did not hum. She snapped at everyone and acted like a high-maintenence biatch. What had that Jimmy dude done to make her so happy? It was good, but confusing at the same time.
Maybe it's all the pod people's faults. Yeah.
He hadn't spoken to Eva in a while, but nothing else had happened between them so he assumed, automatically, that they were on good terms. He liked her, yeah, and while he wasn't so quick to start something these days, he'd sure as hell be okay with a fling. It was summer, it was hot. What could be better?
So Jeremy had ran a hand through his hair and pulled on a clingy white tee shirt with a dark blue button-up over it. Again he reminded himself to get a haircut--his hair was growing like a fucking weed. He was on the way to Paparazzi, of course. Where else was there to go? The beach was too hot. Rachel was filling his house up with the sound of her humming... the Martin girls, in all their grieving, obviously did not want him there. Neither did Lauren. The harbor smelled like fish and it was too early to go clubbing or get a drink.
Yeah.
When he walked in he spotted Noelle, and before thinking about the awkward meeting they had had last time, he walked over to her and sat down. "Am I interrupting anything?" A grin spread across his features. Maybe she'd be able to lend him some of her... girlish wisdom.

Noelle's attention was quickly taken away from her Pop magazine upon hearing Jeremy's voice. She hadn't spoken to him since...well not really since she'd turned him down after he'd asked her to the Cotillion, and she wondered how this conversation would go.
"If you were would you leave?" she joked, before she shook her head 'no' a little bit. "What's up?" she asked him then as her hand moved up to her head and she tucked back a strand of dark brown hair. Eh.. yeah dark brown. Her natural color, she'd decided to go back to it, and now she was wondering if it was such a good idea. Well the color was...but maybe not the cut...her bangs looked pretty goofy, but they'd grow back out again.
There was really nothing else she could say at the moment the ball was in his court conversation wise so she took a sip of her hot tea.

He pretended to think about her first comment for a minute, when it was obvious that he already knew the answer. "Nah, I wouldn't leave." It was as honest as you got. "Nothing really." Jeremy flashed her a grin. Something was different... Only a guy wouldn't realize something that huge. "Dude, your hair! I didn't notice... it's so different. In a good way, though." He trailed off, hoping he hadn't said the wrong thing. With girls you never knew, even down-to-earth girls like Noelle.

"Yeah, I didn't think you would've." She said to the first part when he seemed to think about it. Haha.
Noelle wrinkled up her nose a little bit as she listened to him the very last part. "They messed up my bangs." she said then. "But thanks." she added with a small smile. "I think I actually like my natural color better then the blonde." and her voice trailed off for a moment.
The dark hair really did make her look of her actual heritage, with her fair skin and darker hair. Blah, blah, blah.
She nodded her head a little bit as she heard his response. "So...if this is a touchy subject we can drop it...but what's going on with Lauren and slash or Eva?" she asked him then, and the way she'd ran the words 'and slash or' together it made her wanna laugh a little bit, but she refrained.

Jeremy grinned as the waiter brought him his usual cup of black coffee. He reached out and messed up Noelle's bangs even more, noticing that they looked different. It generally took an actual statement to make him realize things about a girl's changed appearance... The hair, at least. She was good at looking at... chests and such. We know, we know. "Yeah, come to think of it, it does look a little... odd..." He was joking, of course.
Okay, she just had to ask about Lauren and or Eva. Slash...? He let out a weak laugh. It was okay if Noelle asked--she and Rach had been friends forever and he regarded her as a normal, down-to-Earth person that he could tell things. She wouldn't go gossip about it to the entire school, unlike some girls had he known before. "I... have no clue. I mean, Eva and I, us going to cotillion together. That was spur-of-the-moment, but Lauren showed interest in me and whatever. Now she's all wierd, like I did something wrong? Noelle, girls are screwed up."

Noelle frowned a little bit as he messed up her bangs. "Thanks Jeremy." She said as she ran a hand through them a little bit and messed with them for a moment as he spoke. She was though listening to every word he said, she could multi-task.
"Yeah, I know they are." she said, with a small smile. And then didn't say anything more for a moment as she thought about it for a second. "Okay, so you and Eva spur-of-the-moment thing...so we're going to forget all about her for a second and talk about simply Lauren...kay?" she said and waited simply a second before she continued to speak.
"Now, could you see yourself with Lauren?" she asked him then. "And really think about it before you give me an answer. Even if she hadn't shown any interest in you...could you see yourself with her?" she finished, and taking a sip of her tea waited for his reply.
