"Haha, sorry," she said quickly, continuing to dance. The whole misunderstanding was her fault, so she might as well have appologized. "Guitar, hmm? Love guitar. Drums are my personal favorite though," Having played percussion all through junior high and up until junior year in high school explained her reasoning behind her instrument of choice. However, guitar was also one of her favorites. It's ability to create so many different sounds and moods intrigued her, though her favorites were probably more of the sappy stuff. She was a chick, for god's sake. As Tristen joined in with her, she moved in closer to him a bit, continuing to sway her hips quickly with the beat. Her head tilted back a bit so the top of her head was just about under his chin and said, "thanks," quietly. "You're not too bad yourself," she added, smiling. Of course he probably couldn't even see her smile, but oh well. The two worked well rhythmically together, and Cassie was indeed very happy to be dancing again. Back at home she'd go out probably once a week just to dance. Not with anyone in particular, but more to perfect her technique. Layne was a ballet dancer, and Cassie definitely wasn't, so dancing was always a priority. Placing her free hand on his, which held her hip, she took a moment to absorb everything. Her first time dancing in O.C. How lovely.
