"Amber, shut up," Cole muttered with a look at his cousin, shaking his head. It wasn't because she was deliberately trying to get on his nerves today, but because she was getting on him about having a girlfriend. Not that she disagreed with his choice, as he was smiling a lot more now, but she was doing the 'teasing' thing, that family tended to do quite often.
Leaning back in his chair, he lightly pulled on the legs of his black slacks, just before picking up his scotch on the rocks once again. His shirt was light blue and button-up, though the top two loose as per usual. His blazer was draped on the back of his chair, and he sipped his drink, settling his cousin with a withering look. Why he'd agreed to come to the place with the two of them was beyond him, but hanging with family was a good thing every now and then.
Smirking slightly, Amber crossed her legs, tilting her head to the side and raising a brow. "Well fine then Scrooge," she murmured, her finger running around the mouth of her cup. It held a virgin pina colada, as she didn't drink alcohol. She knew she couldn't hold her liqour, so she wasn't about to be an idiot and do so.
Her hair was down for once, soft curls framing her face. She hadn't been in a mood to do much with it, and that was the reason for the hairdo of choice. Since she wasn't going anywhere like a party or the like, her face didn't hold any make-up. "So, why did you two become a couple anyway?" she asked him, setting her elbow on the table. Her shoe dangled lightly, being black stillettos. She was short, and therefore liked enhancing her height in someway. Her skirt was blue jean, and stopped right at her knees. The shirt was black, a jacket shrugged over it.
Ryder on the other hand, was completely silent, but very much amused by the two's interaction. His cousin never got on his case like she did on Cole's, and that was a good thing. Plus, she knew Spencer, and thought it was great he was with such a nice person.
Signalling a waitor over, he got himself a refill of brandy, his hand going through his dark blonde hair as he did so. "You need to leave Cole alone babe. I don't think he's going to be answering anymore of your questions," he laughed, shaking his head and smirking. "Plus, dickhead needs some nookie every now and a then," he crudely joked, dodging a rolled up piece of paper that his brother threw his way. "You always had bad aim," he mused.
A white wifebeater was present on his torso, though covered up by his black motorcycle jacket. Ripped jeans hung low on his body, tan boots encased his feet. It was typical Ryder attire, as he didn't like dressing fancy even if he was going to a nice place. Why change for anyone anyway? As long as he was comfortable, he didn't care what anyone had to say. “Oh, Like I care who you are. It’s who I am, that’s important, remember that when your standing in the unemployment line with your welfare checks and WIC. Toodles, Bitch” Adrienne Martin and all of her bitch-y glory had come into the rose bar looking to get nice and randy then go party somewhere. So far she was doing excextly that. She was seated at table and ordering vodka tonics. Her messy black hair hung down at her shoulders, in a ‘I’m-So-sexy-I-don’t-even-have-to-do-that-much-to-my-hair’ look. Her eyeliner and mascara where done like someone prepared to go out to a club and so was her attire. She wore a short jean micro mini skirt. It was of the low rising short, and sat sweetly on her hips. A black halter-top covered her chest, which is very surprising, it was well fitted on her curves and tops just below her periced belly button, which if you must know, was the same purple butterfly her cousin E.V. wore.
Her cousin, which she had lied to over the phone, and told she was coming tomorrow , was Elizabeth Martin, and the person whom she would stay with. Elizabeth’s ‘brother’ was staying with also. Adrienne could stand that ass-hole….he was just too…stupid.

Rolling his eyes a bit, Cole tossed yet another rolled up piece of paper at his brother. "I don't have bad aim you one minute man," he jabbed back, scowling. So now he had two people against him. Lovely. Ruffling his blonde hair, he drained the rest of his drink, standing up and walking over to the bar where he leaned his elbows on the counter, getting himself a refill.
"Aww, I think you went and hurt Colby's feelings," Amber chuckled, quite amused. She stood as well, walking over to where Cole was and taking a seat on the stool next to him. "I'm glad you're happy cuz," she said seriously, looking up at him, all fun and jokes aside for once. "If she breaks your heart..." she trailed off, shrugging lightly. "I hope she doesn't, as I've never seen you this happy in my life. You're smiling for Christ's sakes," she grinned.
Laughing, Ryder relaxed back in his chair. He knew Cole wasn't upset, as he could never get angry at his younger brother. It was just the way things were between them. Closing his eyes, he sipped from his drink, barely listening to everything that was going on around him.

Sheer thrill ran up Spencer’s back and made the small hairs on her neck stand up after hearing some yelling coming from the far end of the bar. Great way to make an entrance, though it didn’t exactly matter, for Spencer was not looking to turn heads. Stepping inside the building, the young teen was dressed casually as she was only here to stop for a drink before heading back out and walking towards the pier. Her bottom half consisted of a polyester black skirt and layered and her torso was covered with a tight pink shirt, its front draped and hung low, but underneath was another attachment to the shirt that clung to her chest. Her hair was down, resting over each shoulder.
The gust of cool wind hit her, causing her hair to be blown behind her shoulders but Spencer didn’t seem to care as she kept her pace up and walked towards the bar. Upon reaching it, she took a seat on the stool and ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri, her favorite thing to order here at the rose bar. After telling the bartender her drink order, Spencer strummed her fingers lightly atop the counter and awaited her drink. Tilting her head to the side, Ryder alone at a table. Then, looking around the place again, she noticed Amber standing next to another guy. ‘Probably here with family.’ She thought to herself as a smile came upon her face.
As the drink was set in front of her, Spencer paid the said amount of money, grasped the drink within her hands, and slowly made her way to the table Ryder was seated at. As she was walking, Spencer felt bad about interrupting Ryder’s day with his family and thought about leaving him alone but when she had snapped back into reality, she found herself standing next to Ryder and kissing his lightly on his cheek. ‘Shit’ she thought to herself, now feeling bad that she had interrupted a planned day of Ryder’s that was set to be with his family. “I’m sorry for interrupting you all....” She stated, glancing over towards Amber and the other male letting Ryder know that she had seen the other two and knew they where here with him.

Feeling a kiss on his cheek, Ryder smiled, already knowing who it was without even opening his eyes or having heard her spoken words. His eyes fluttered open though, grey eyes looking upward at that beautiful face that was haunting his every awake and sleeping moment. "No, you're not interrupting," he assured, setting his glass of brandy back unto the table and standing up. His fingers trailed up her arms to her face, his hands cupping from each side, his lips meeting hers in a brief kiss of greeting. "I'm happy to see you actually. The day's been long and boring without ya," he admitted, his hands now finding her waist and settling there. "You wanna meet them?" he asked her, and of course meaning his brother and cousin. He knew she knew Amber from through just an introduction, so now was as good a time as any for her to get to know two members of his family.
Smiling, Cole sat down on the stool next to Amber. "Hmm, first nice thing you've ever said to me," he smirked, running a hand through his hair. "And I'm sure she won't. She's a nice girl...adorable actually. You find anyone yet?" he asked her, changing the topic from himself and to her, one brow raised before he glanced back at the table they'd left Ryder at. So that must be the girlfriend. Well, had to be, as his brother's demeanor had change somewhat.
Rolling her eyes, Amber threaded her fingers through her hair. "I've said plenty nice things to you. You just don't hear 'em," she smirked, then shaking her head and looking down into her glass. "Nope. Amber's the friend remember," she stated more than asked, a bland smile on her face. "I'm another one of the guys. Just one of the guys..." she trailed off, getting a faraway look. Hey, she didn't want anyone. Right?

Watching Ryder’s eyes open signaled Spencer to set her own drink down, of which she did rather quickly. A slight chill ran up her spine as his fingers skimmed her arm and both hands sat upon her face, Ryder planting a kiss on her lips. Spencer pouted her lips and stared upwards into his gray eyes of which she absolutely loved. “I’m sorry your day hasn’t been all that great, but come on, you are with family, they can’t be /that/ bad.” She joked, nodding shortly afterwards in order to answer his request upon wanting to meet his brother. She had already known Amber, not too well, but she knew who he was. Spencer set her arms atop his as he held her at the waist and then briefly glanced over towards the two relatives of his before looking back at him and grabbing her drink from the table.

Giving her a look which translated into 'You don't know my family then', he shook his head and smirked, picking his own drink up and only having one hand draped around her waist. "Those two," he tilted his head to Cole and Amber. "They argue and fight like cats and dogs. Hey, they love each other, but they can't see eye to eye on anything at all, more than half the time. Talk about lots of head buckings. Reason I don't know how the hell they manage to share an apartment," he mused thoughtfully, shrugging lightly. "Anyway, they play nice when company's around. So let's go," he said, thinking he might as well get it over with.
Walking over to where his sibling and cousin were, Ryder looked down at them both. "Colby, Amber...meet Spencer. Spencer...meet Cole and Amber," he introduced, taking a sip from his drink right after.
Studying Amber's face, Cole pursed his lips before looking at Ryder when he arrived with his girl. Smiling, which was indeed a good change from the usual smirk, he put his hand out to the Spencer. "Pleasure," he said simply, looking at his brother with the 'She seems like a nice girl' look. That was the good thing about being related to someone. The looks which each could read without the other even saying anything.
Snapping from her daze, Amber looked up at Spencer and Ryder. "Hey," she said with a smile, returning to her usual self. "We've already met. Nice to see you again," she murmured, downing her virgin drink and standing up. "I'll be right back." Sliding off the stool, she set her empty glass on the bartop and started to make her way over to the direction of the restrooms. She didn't need to use it 'per se', just wash her face. Spencer let out a soft chuckle before taking a small sip of her drink and mimicking Ryder’s movements, placing an arm of her own around his waist also. “Well, don’t we all have someone in our lives with whom we love yet hate all the more?” Spencer asked after listening to what Ryder had to say about Amber and his brother. “That’s how my aunt and I are. Yes, my aunt.” Spencer stated with a small laugh that seemed to come directly from the stomach, as it sounded more like a hiccup than a laugh. “I love her to death, but damn that lady drives me up the wall....” she added, allowing her voice to trail off as she walked with Ryder over to the others.
“So, Cole, you must be the famous brother Ryder talks about constantly.” She said with a smirk towards Ryder after shaking Cole’s hand lightly, obviously joking around with him. “It is nice to see you again too Amber.” Spencer said before Amber disappeared into the restroom. Spencer could defiantly admit that he seemed to have a well brought up family. They both seemed to be fairly nice and this was only part of the family. Spencer took yet another sip of her drink before letting her arm drop to her side as she hung on to the rim of the cup.

Raising a brow, Colby smirked. "All good things I hope," he said, scratching lightly at the side of his face before picking up Amber's new virgin drink as well as his own. "Well, let's have a seat and we can talk some more shall we?" he asked, making his back to their table and sitting down. He set Amber's at the place where her purse was, his seat being right next to hers. Sipping some of his scotch, he lightly licked his lips, enjoying the taste.
"So Spencer, tell me something about yourself? My brother's seemingly hooked," he grinned, looking over at Ryder.
Smirking, Ryder removed his hand from Spencer's waist and walked back to the table, pulling out a chair for Spencer before taking his own seat. "May be so, but you're hooked as well dear brother," he retorted, brandy glass on the table as he set his palms on his thighs. "Orange County women," he smiled, giving Spencer an affectionate look of sorts.

“All good things, of course.” Spencer replied with a toothy grin before nodding at Cole’s suggestion. She followed behind Cole, Ryder still at her side and upon reaching the table, slid her free from around Ryder’s waist and sat down in the seat he had pulled out for her. “Thank you.” She muttered, setting her drink in front of her and stirring the drink with the straw for a second or two before looking back at Cole.
“Hmm, about myself.” She started, her gaze shifting to Ryder for a second before glancing down at the table. “Uh, I have lived here for about two years now. I live here with my family, my two brothers and both of my parents. I also still live with them. I am seventeen years old and I do plan on going to college someday.” She continued with a light shrug. She didn’t really favor talking about herself, she felt the need to stay away from it considering she tended to babble on about nothing for the longest time. “And you?” she asked him, raising her eyebrows in the least bit, offering a small smile towards him also.

"Mmm, well, I'm nineteen. Middle child," Colby shrugged, relaxing back in his chair. "I didn't go to College, as I didn't see the need to. I'm into Computers. Got myself some good jobs which pay /very/ well, to design programs for different people, --"
"He's a computer wizard. Genius I might add," Ryder interjected, smirking. "/That's/ the reason he didn't go to College. He knew more than the teachers could ever teach him. Stop being modest Cole."
Smiling at his brother, Colby shook his head. "And I've met a nice girl since I've been this side," he concluded. "As Chris said, 'Orange County Women'. Either that, or there's something in the water." Chuckling lightly, he watched Amber who was making her way back over to them.
"Miss me?" she asked Cole with a grin, ruffling his hair and sitting down next to him. She crossed her legs, sinking down into the chair. Her hair was now up in a messy knot, soft tendrils framing her face.
"Of course I didn't," Cole answered back. "Was having a nice time until you returned."
"Ohh pssh. You /know/ you /love/ me," Amber said surely, jumping slightly when her cell phone vibrated suddenly. Pulling it from the pocket on her skirt, she examined the number and smiled. "My next favorite cousin. I shall be right back again," she stated, standing up. She found it rude to answer a phone at a table, and therefore walked away a bit, answering the phone to talk to Clyde.
Having no clue that Amber meant Clyde as her 'next favorite cousin', Ryder reached his hand over and covered the top of one of Spencer's free ones. "See what I told you," he murmured, and meaning Colby and Amber's banter. "Did you get the stuff I sent you?" he asked her, his thumb running lightly over the back of her hand."

“Computers, huh? That’s pretty interesting. I don’t know a thing about computers, as long as I can get on one and do what I need to do, I’m fine.” Spencer chuckled; she was pretty impressed as to what he seemed to do for a living. Her gaze shifted and fell upon that of Ryder as he had interrupted Cole only to add onto what he had been saying. “Well, I want to be a nurse...I think.” Spencer told the two, pondering the thought for a moment before sharing a reassuring nod. “My mom is a nurse, I guess I have taken it up from her.” She added with a smile, fingering the straw in her drink.
“Ah, a girl. That is very nice and I wish the best to you and her.” Spencer praised with a wide grin, looking over at Ryder and then to Amber as she sat down. Spencer giggled at the small conversation they had with one another and watched Amber leave them once again. She didn’t mind though, she had met Amber...Cole was the one that mattered at the moment. Spencer knew she had to make some sort of good impression on him.
The touch upon her free hand had made Spencer smile, letting her eyes trail up the arm and settle on Ryder’s face. Listening to his comment she shook her head lightly before telling him, “It really doesn’t matter, kind of amusing actually.” She then laughed softly before turning her hand over so that Ryder’s sat within it, and held it loosely. “Yes, I did get your gifts. Thank you so much, babe. It was really sweet of you.” She said, flashing him a warm smile and squeezing his hand slightly. “Though I have to say when I first opened the door and saw the guy standing there, I was like ‘who the hell?’” Spencer added with a laugh and taking another sip of her drink.

“YOU BITCH! Adrienne! WOMAN!” Elizabeth Martin had stomped into the Rose Bar, Apparently not noticing anyone else in the bar. From head to toe Elizabeth was speckled with water, her hair was a mess and she did not look like her normal self. Her make seemed edgy and catty and so did her walk and tone of voice. As she stomped across the bar in a pair of light pink leather Prada boots, her eyes narrowed in on Adrienne. Adrienne wasn’t even supposed to be here right now. That bitch was ruining her plans for tonight, which Elizabeth was not happy with. Pulling off her light weight white jacket, Elizabeth revealed a light pink cami top, that came down a skimmed her hips over her light Cancun wash deiem mini. Elizabeth dropped the jacket on a table and stood very close to Adrienne, hands on her hips, tapping her foot.
“Ewe! Back.Up.” Adrienne said and hopped of her barstool had her hands raised at her shoulders, finger coving her palms. “You live in the OC, you shouldn’t walk around all messy-like. Not very /Martin/ like!”
Adrienne now stood a good few feet away from her cousin, who was obviously pissed that Adrienne was here before her time. Putting her left hand down and flipping her hair was her right, Adrienne blankly stated.
“Great, Honey. People think you’re crazy. I should be seen with you…”

Smiling, Colby nodded. "Good profession. Helping others out is ten times better than what I'm doing," he stated, not needing her to make any impressions on him. He already liked her, and that was all that truly mattered really. She just had that nice vibe floating off of her, and he'd realized Ryder found himself a good girl from the moment he laid eyes on the chick. "Well you and Chris are pretty similar. Dad's a lawyer and that's what he's planning to do with his life," he murmured, slowly twirling his glass within his hand.
"Thanks. Ditto," he said, and meaning Ryder and Spencer's relationship. He closed his eyes for a moment, allowing the two 'lovebirds' to chat.
"Of course it's amusing...at times. When you're around them long enough, it gets somewhat annoying," Ryder chuckled before smiling and shaking his head. "Yeah, he was a trip. If I didn't know better, I'd say he was hitting on me," he slowly said, brows furrowing before shrugging lightly. "Well, you deserved both. I met your brother this afternoon...when I went to go meet Amber. He seems nice enough." It was the truth too, and not Ryder trying to kiss up. The guy had made mention as to why he'd made the 'shut the fuck up' outburst, so whatever.

Spencer nodded. A lawyer huh? Wow, now /that/ is a serious profession if any. She then smiled as Colby’s eyes had closed and she let her eyes lay upon his drink, watching the movement the liquid inside of the glass had made. Realizing he had spoken again, she nodded in response, though thought it useless considering he couldn’t see the nod and just shrugged slightly.
“Well then, I’m sorry that it gets annoying to you. Just laugh it off. It is only bickering.” She stated, though not fully realizing that he had to put up with it constantly. “Yeah, okay, I see where you are coming from I guess. I just don’t really know /exactly/ how you feel about the whole thing, but I’m sure it isn’t that bad and I am now babbling on. I need to really learn how to /not/ babble. I hate myself for it.” She stated, dropping her hand from the glass and tapping her fingertips gently on the tabletop. She had been making no sense what so ever and was probably making a fool of herself. Oh well, life goes on. For all she knew she probably took this whole ‘babbling’ thing to a level that it was not prompted to meet.
Letting the thought and previous topic slip from her mind Spencer chuckled after hearing that the delivery-boy had most likely been hitting on Ryder. “Well, he was gay and you are very good looking so I’m not exactly surprised.” She assured him with a smile, finishing her drink and setting the glass away from her reach. Then it hit her, the voicing of Ryder that spoke ‘I met your brother’. Spencer tensed up; even after hearing that Ryder had said he seemed nice. “Shit. You met him.../already/?” she asked, her eyes squinting as she looked into his and hoped he had been joking. “You met Jimmy, without me? Not good. Jimmy can be suck an ass. I’m sorry for what ever he may have said or done.” She told him, snapping straight to the point that Jimmy wasn’t exactly what you would call a ‘good boy.’ He could be rude and senseless and for all she knew, he could have done something to them before they had found out who each other actually were. It wasn’t that Spencer didn’t trust Ryder’s opinion about Jimmy, but he may have just been saying that so she wouldn’t feel bad.
