“Yea, alright I’ll see ya man.” Jimmy watched as his brother walked off back towards home. The two had spent the whole day together, as always, but Brian said he was getting tired so decided to head home. As for Jimmy though, Jimmy could be out all night, all day, all the time. Always either looking for trouble or already in it.
His hands stuffed deep into his pocket as he walked alone towards the pier. It wasn’t like him to really be alone, but for the past year he has been doing a lot of it. He didn’t really mind though, having a girlfriend was hard for Jimmy, considering it was hard for him to be faithful with most girls. He always ended up cheating or it just didn’t work. That was it.
Nearing the pier, Jimmy turned back around and continued to walk, backwards. He watched his brother head off in the opposite direction. Smiling to himself he turned back around and step up onto the pier. Resting his elbows over the side of the railing and staring up at the dark clouds that seemed to roll in, Jimmy started to do some sort of overview of his summer thus far through his head.

A small frown formed on her face as she continued to listen to the voice mails. The pink sliver connected to her ear at the moment as she slowly made her way down to the pier. That small frown though soon turned into a smile as she walked, and she continued listening to the long message that was all in French. If he was moving here he better start speaking English a bit more... Which was what the message was about. Her cousin Louis coming from Paris to live with her until he went off to school in December. Oh, how exciting. A pair of skinny jeans were worn as she walked, along with a pair of black ballet flats. Showing how short and tiny the female really was. A white t-shirt with slightly puffy short sleeves was worn along with a black vest over it. The shirt which was kind of large was tucked into the front of the jeans showing the tiny black belt around her waist. That blonde hair of hers was pulled back into a ponytail in the middle of her head. The hair too short for it fell down around her face, covering her right celery green eye, though leaving the other one there in the open. The whole outfit from J. Lindeberg..

A heavy sigh was expelled from the teen’s soft lips as he turned to lean against the ledge, resting his elbows a top it. His eyes scanned the small crowd before him as he studied every person walking by. His eyes lay upon that of a girl. She looked easy as fuck, or at least to Jimmy she did. An evil smirk crossed his lips as he watched her walk and talk on her cell phone. Typical Jimmy.... always looking for someone to get his hands on. Jimmy’s last serious relationship was....hmm....never. He had never stuck with it, always leaving the girl or ending it by cheating with someone else. Jimmy brought a hand up to his chin, rubbing it as he looked away from the girl for a split second before watching her closely again.

She finally brought the phone away from her ear as she pressed the seven and deleted the message, and moved the cell phone to her back pocket. She continued walking, her pace rather slow at the moment. Just some people watching for a little while. And then her cousin would be there in several hours. Oh, this was so exciting...she couldn't wait to see him. She'd have an older brother for the most part now until December...and that to her was exciting. Those celery green eyes shifted then as she felt eyes upon her. You know that feeling...where you can tell if someone is looking at you. She finally looked to Jimmy then.

Jimmy smirked as the girl had looked back at him. Maybe he’d get lucky tonight, or maybe he had judged her wrong and she was not as easy as he thought. He would exactly say she /looked/ easy, maybe he was just in the mood for some action. Yea, Jimmy was a player. He knew it, his sister knew it, his brother knew it, and he wouldn’t be surprised if her parents knew it too. Pushing himself off from the wooden ledge, Jimmy made a clear walk across the pier to approach this girl. It wasn’t like him to make a sweet approach either, he’d make himself look like an ass or a fool, either way, he liked it.
“Hey, you’re looking good tonight, baby.” Jimmy softly spoke to her, that smirk still upon his face and his eyes screamed ‘come home with me.’ You could tell he was bored. Jimmy had never been faithful, but there had been a few relationships that he wished he hadn’t screwed up after he had slept with someone else or was caught with another girl. There was always a time or point within a sensitive day of his that Jimmy would think to himself why he had to be this way. He swore he would change for the good, but nothing seemed to be helpful towards him.

Noelle looked at him for a moment after he'd spoken. "Oh." she said then softly, her voice sounding as though she really meant what she was saying. Though of course she didn't. "You speak with such eloquence." she finished. Eloquence her ass. What did he think he was trying to pull? Like she was going to fall for some cheesy line with baby on the end of it. It was kind of funny actually, that this guy had taken her for an easy girl...when in reality she was so far from that. After the words came out of her mouth, which had really been her sarcasm of course...she waited to see how he'd respond.

“Are you waiting for someone?” he asked, noting that she didn’t seem as easy as he had thought. Shit, another one gone. Jimmy stood in font of her, looking down into her eyes, trying to show some sympathy as to say, ‘I’m not a bad guy, really.’ Though it wasn’t true. He was horrible. Who was he kidding? His goal this year, before school started, was to change his ways and to get someone that he could actually like not for just the sex, but for them themselves. He wanted someone who would beat his ass at every little damn thing he did wrong. He wanted someone he would look forward to spending sometime with. He wanted someone... to love. This was his moment to prove not only to this girl who now had the completely wrong judgment, yet the exactly right one, about him, but also to himself that he could let this whole sex hungry thing go. “I’m sorry for my approach, I didn’t mean it...” he said, his voice trailing off lightly as he looked to the ground.

Her eyesbrows raised slightly when he said he didn't mean it. He didn't mean it because he found out that he wasn't going to get any? Or was he serious. "No, I'm not." she said in reply to his first question. "And you know a better approach next time would probably be introducing yourself." she said then. "Such as." she said then with a pause as she stuck out her right hand. "Hi, I'm Noelle." she said then as she offered him her name.

Jimmy glanced around nodding his head. He felt intrigued being lectured by a female. He didn’t like it but thought if he was going to change his ways, he needed to learn how to get along with the opposite sex. Letting his hand come within hers, he grasped it and gave it a light shake. “Jimmy Carlin.” He stated his name with a soft smile, one that usually would be taken over by an evil stare or a smirk. “So, if you aren’t waiting for anyone, what is a girl as pretty as you doing out her by yourself?” he asked, /trying/ his best to sound like a gentleman. No, he wasn’t hitting on her, he was just trying to give her a different look in him. He wanted not only her, but everyone else to know that he, Jimmy Carlin, had a sweet side and was willing to use it to succeed in life.

Her hand soon let go of his as she moved it back to her pocket. "Um, I'm just going for a walk...people watching." She replied then with a slight shrug of her shoulders then. Now acting a bit more civil towards him as though she'd already forgotten about what his approach to her. Forgive and forget...right?

“That sounds like loads of fun. Mind if a man, or eh, I walk with you?” he asked, letting his hand drop to his side, only to mimic her movements and slide into his pocket. He then stepped to her side and began walking, not taking into consideration of letting him walk with her. He looked to the ground as he walked as he always did. Both hands shoved into his pockets made him look even more lonely, but the girl beside him was the sign that he wasn’t alone after all. Now, if anyone was out walking the pier and happened to know Jimmy really well, they would probably stop to comment him on how ‘player-like’ he was acting, having a girl at his side who he had just met. He hopped it wouldn’t happen though, and if it did, he wouldn’t care because he knew himself that he was trying to change and one he was changed, everyone else would know and he wouldn’t be known as Jimmy the player. Maybe he’d be just..Jimmy.

"I suppose so." she replied, though he'd already joined her before she could. Not that it mattered really. Noelle's gaze shifted around a bit as she watched as other people past. Thinking that it might be a good idea to make conversation with him rather then just walking in silence. After she finally decided on this her mind searched for some topic to bring up that they could talk about.

Jimmy nodded in response to her agreement of letting him walk with her. “So, really, what are you doing out here on the pier?” he asked her, trying to engage in a conversation as he watched her looking around at the passer-bys. Jimmy had only been out there to take a breather. He had been with his brother all day and decided to go out by the pier only for a rest. He was going to head home soon anyways, but upon meeting Noelle, he was being held back. He figured he wouldn’t stay long, knowing that he usually was quite a boring person and that she would most likely get sick of him fast.

She gave a light shrug of her shoulders in responce. "I was just getting away for a little bit. Some thinking time.." she said then. "Why are you?" She questioned then after a moments pause in her speech.

Jimmy followed suit by shrugging his shoulders as she had done. “I guess I’m here doing the same.” He responded. “I wasn’t in such a mood to head home. Wasn’t ready for my sister to start babbling on about some new crap she got herself into or about her new guy. I need to meet him, let him know not to mess with her, y’know, typical brother.” He said with a light laugh in her direction. Her looked down at his feet, which had been covered by a pair of solid black work boots. No, he didn’t work, or at least not in boots, but he liked them. They had been one of the many birthday gifts from lovely Spencer. Trailing up from his feet were a pair of dark blue jeans that hung lose on his hips but were held up by a dark brown belt. On his torso sat a loose white collard T-shirt. Typical outing attire. Typical Jimmy.
