"Am I being boring?" Noelle questioned then. "I feel like I'm being boring." she finished. She hadn't been saying much...but she hadn't been sure what to say..

"Well, kind of. But I don't blame you because I am also," Tyler answered, using the basic honesty he always found his best friend using. It really did feel better than lying, huh? In his opinion...well, duh, yes. "We're here...well. We're on the right street," he announced, turning the corner onto his house's street. The houses on the street weren't estates, but they sure as hell weren't apartment-like either.

"As long as both of us are." she replied. Her gaze shifted around a little bit, as she heard the next thing he'd said. Her hand moving up to brush that strand of hair out of her eyes... Oh shoot, she'd forgotten to grab that clip.

"If your hair is bothering you, you can use one of my sister's clips. If you'd like," Tyler offered, walking along the street, then turning as he reached his driveway. Walking up to the door, he grabbed the key from his pocket, unlocked the door, and entered the house, then waited for Noelle to catch up with him.

Ah, he'd read her mind. "That would be great." she said then in reply to his offer as she entered the house behind him. She thought it was nice.

"You can stay in the living room while I go get my stuff. And a clip. It's right there," he said, pointing to the next room over, then starting up the staircase in the foyer of his house. He promised himself he'd be quick, but that would be hard, as his room was a mess, and it'd be hard to find stuff.

"Okay." she said then as she moved into the living room, stopping for a moment as she looked around a little bit before she moved then taking a seat.

Tyler, thankfully, quickly found his swimtrunks--black with white stitching, and a shirt, plain white, and changed into them. Coming out of his room, he now turned toward his sister's--well, like his sister's. It was actually Zanna's room, but sometimes he called her his siter. Anyway, he grabbed a clip, then came back down the stairs.

Noelle held a phone in her hand, reading a message from Madelaine, her hand moving up as she tucked that strand back again slowly out of her eyes. And then her fingers moved as she punched back a responce. The woman was wondering where Noelle was.

"Here you go," Tyler said, coming into the living room. He held the white clip out to her. He smiled slightly, waiting for her to...do something. Stand up. Say something. Just...something.

She slipped her phone back into her pocket, and stood up, taking the pin from him as she did. "Thank you." she said then with a small smile, before she moved, putting the clip into her hair then.

"You're welcome," said Tyler, smile coming back again. He wasn't sure why he'd smiled, but he had. "Come on, then," he said, grabbing her hand and walking hurriedly back to the door. Maybe he was too excited. In fact, he knew he was too excited. But who really cared? He sure didn't.

And Noelle of course moved after him as he grabbed her hand and started walking. Oh, how nice the feeling of her hair not falling in her eyes. And she was finding that she liked spending time with Tyler. When they were both being boring...or weren't.

Tyler was now sure that she was coming with him, but was debating on if he should contiue holding her hand or not. Probably not, but it was better to ask. "Do you mind if I hold your hand? Or is that...just too weird?" he asked, looking over at her wearily.

She didn't know how to reply at first. How would it sound if she answered either way? Well screw it...she didn't care. She kinda liked the fact that they were. "No." she said then simply.
