Lindsey sat down in a comfy chair at the cafe with a view out the window. She placed her Franco Sarto purse next to her feet, doned in white Havianas flipflops. She adorned a lime green Lacoste polo with a pair of tight ripped Seven jeans that hugged her curves and muscular, but long legs. She ordered her usual(as usual as ordering the same drink 3 times can be), cappuchino with extra whipped cream, and waited. She pulled a book out of her bag, Gossip Girls, the true encounter of her life on the East coast. She already read this book 100 times, but it was so close to her life back home in New York that she felt some comfort within it.

Ugh, why did he always find himself here? It was getting seriously repetitive--the entering and scoping for hot, easy girls, the going up to the counter and getting a huge white mug of black coffee, and the sitting down in his usual leather chair.
Today, though, he was putting a twist on stuff--say, his attire. A kind-of-ab-hugging white tee shirt with a slight v-neck, and his favorite dark brown suede baggy blazer. His dark wash Diesel jeans rode low on his hips, and light blue checkered boxers were just barely visible.
Today, he found someone sitting in his favorite chair. A very hot someone.

Lindsey took a spoonful of whipped cream and placed it in her mouth, licking her lips. It was the best part of her cappuchino, sweet and creamy. She leaned her head on her hand, flipping the page of her book, getting really into the plot. She looked up and saw a guy walk in, a good looking guy, but she reminded herself, she wasn't going to be east coast agressive Lindsey anymore, she was going to try the laidback west coast Lindsey.

"Uhm, you're sitting in my seat." He said blunty, mildly appalled but hiding it, his ego semi-stroked just by seeing the girl check him out. She was hot, but she didn't look very chic-O.C.-girl. Maybe East Coast? Whatever. Didn't matter, he was going to flirt anyway.

Lindsey looked up at him and raised a perfectly waxed and shaped eyebrow. "I didn't know people had assigned seats in coffee shops on the west coast", Lindsey turned her attention away from the guy, and back to her book, finishing the chapter and placing a bookmark inside it. She returned it to her bag, and pulled out her Sidekick, text messaging her best friend back home, Annalise, who might be coming to visit next week.

Erm, okay. This girl was a total bitch. Did she think she was playing hard-to-get or something? It wasn't working--he could sort of sense that she wanted him. He wouldn't phrase it as desperate, though later she could become. "Guess you don't know the rules--and I don't know your name." Jeremy said, not one to beat around the bush or use lame pickup lines.

Lindsey put away her Sidekick and looked up at the guy, scanning his face before answering him. She thought it was funny how cocky he was, thinking she was going to just fall into his lap, no, he was going to have to work. "Lindsey. And you are...?"

"Jeremy." He sat in the chair next to her on the other side of the table, putting down his black leather David Spade messenger bag--which housed his camera and NYU papers. A working man. You like it. "I've never seen you around."

"Yea, I just moved from the Hamptons." The corners of her mouth curled into a smile, "So Jeremy, what brings you here today?"

"I have no idea, except that I needed fucking caffeine. And what brings you here, Lindsey?" He asked, deliberately using her name. He took out his camera, scrolling through the pictures he had taken. There was E.V., and Channel, both looking gorgeous and haughty on the beach--and then the picture of a couple dancing on the beach at night...

"I don't know, just, hanging out I guess. Also, waiting for my friend Annalise to get here. She's supposed to come live with me for a while from the East Coast." Lindsey brought her hand to her collarbone, fingering the strand of pearls around her neck.

Jeremy resisted the urge to ask in Annalise was hot, because that would be rude. Right? Impressions were about you and the person you were speaking to, not... Annalise. He sipped his coffee, running a hand through his hair as he usually did. "So, met anyone else yet?" He asked.

"Yea, a couple of people. No one that really made an impression yet", Lindsey twirled an end of her wavy brown hair around her index finger then unraveling it, her hair staying in a perfect spiral curl.

Jeremy watched her twist her hair while she spoke, getting slightly annoyed and slightly turned on at the same time. He hated when girls played with their hair, because it made them seem... wierd, but it also was kind of sexy. "Have you met my sister?" He asked casually. "Rachel?"

Lindsey smirked, "Not officially." That Bitch. Lindsey let go of her hair and stared into Jeremy's eyes with her own emerald green ones. "She seems...nice." Lindsey said, in a way anyone would believe her.
