The harbor.
How long had it been since Zanna'd spent any time here? She couldn't remember. All she knew was that it had been quite a while. Perhaps...well, more than three months, that was for sure.
Amd why did she care, anyway?
She was just really bored, of course.
Sure. She should be getting ready for that stupid cotillion think. Pshh. Like that was going to happen. She'd probably rush home, shower, get someone to help her with her hair, put on some makeup, slip into her dress and speed her dainty little ass to the hotel.
Oh yes, that sounded like a plan.

Too bad she couldn't just wear what she was already wearing. And what was she already wearing? A black shirt with a red apple pattern all over it. And a pair of black skinny jeans. And some red Converse. Didn't her outfit just scream O.C.?

Chase was wayy bored for all day lately he never had anything to do, plus he failed to ask anyone to the Collition, all well its not like it'd be any fun for him anyways...

So out of his extreme bordome he had decided to take a stroll on the Harbor, in the distance he saw a girl, that was different from all the other girls he had seen around OC...which he liked, a lot. Especially her style.

He wore his black shirt, what else is new. Along with his tight woren out True Religions which hung slightly off his but to show his boxers, no matter how many times he'd try to keep them up even with a belt they'd sag. Oh and his boxers where black...

He walked up to the girl and simply said "hey".

Did she know this guy?
No. But he didn't seem like some stupid jerk that...well, was a stupid jerk. So she decided shed respond to him. What a kind thought.
Well. For her, at least.
"Nnn...Hi," she said, her voice soft and tinged with the slight tone of boredom. It wasn't that she was trying to convey that he bored her, simply that she was bored in general.

And then she found herself wondering; what was this stupid harbor for, anyway?

"I'm Zanna. And you are?"

"Im Chase" he said with a smile, "you seem bored...that makes two" he paused than asked "you mind if i join you?" for he didnt want to intrude.

"Yep. Very bored. Stupid cotillion is today, and I just have to go," Zanna sighed, rolling her eyes. "And no, I don't care if you join me. You seem okay-ish, so...yea, it's fine."
Looking over at him, she ran her gaze quickly over his features.
Why didn't she recognize him? She didn't even recall ever seeing him around. That was weird.
"Are you being forced to go. To the stupid debutante ball thing?
And are you new?"

Chase was glad to hear that he was okay-ish so he sat down next to her with his legs Indian Style. "Well...knid of, I just met some girl and she asked so i said sure." he paused for that sounded rude..."well, i didnt really have anything else to do..." he smiled for he got that question alot "is it that obvious?" he asked with a joking smile showing his straight white teeth.

"Well, I have just never seen you before--and I've seen everyone that is native to the O.C...so, I guess it is kind of obvious," Zanna said, shrugging a little bit. "That's cool, so I'll see ya there. I can introduce you to lots of my friends, and stuff. I like your lip by the way," she said.
Wait. That sounded weird, didn't it? Chucklng a little, she added, "Your snakebites, I mean."

"oh okay, everyone seems to ask me that" and by everyone he means by what? 2 other people. "oh okay sounds cool." he smiled "oh thanks" he added with a laugh "oh and if you dont mind me commenting...i dont know if you have been told this alot but i love your style, becasue its unique...uhmm different...which is good.." oh shit... he thought that sounded terrible.... He didnt mean it in a wierd hit on way just a friendly compliment...

"Who asked ya?" she asked. Damn it. She sounded like she was jealous or something, when she simply wanted to know what lovely O.C. lady he'd be escorting. Just for...knowing, really. "Heh. Thanks. I kinda am told that a lot, mainly just by friends though," she shrugged. Noticing his nervous--or whatever it was--ness, she added, "So maybe it's a sign. You plus me equals friends, ya know?"
