"I don't know doll whats up with you?"Devin asked smirking. His eyes had that playful gleam in them that he got when he was hyper or really super happy. He giggled and went back to his dancing well aware of the people that had stopped to stare. He giggled and finally stoped singing to Newport Living by Cute Is What We Aim For.

Layne's demeanor shifted abruptly at the sound of a male's voice. "Omgsh!" she exclaimed, turning her focus to him. "Ermm. Good..?" she said timidly, and also quite rudely. "I'm Layne." she said quickly after, realizing her tone was hardly acceptable. "Nice moves," said Layne, nodding as he danced. "Too bad I can't dance, or I'd probably join you." She giggled playfully, becoming more comfortable.

"Haha, firey. I'm good to. Nice to meet you Layne I'm Devin Storm Mckay, but if you wish to see the new day I suggest you call me Devin."He laughed grinning from ear to ear. "I can't dance either, I suck at it... actually I'm just copying what I've seen. Come on try! Dance with me!"He said

Layne pouted and nodded her head. "No no, really I can't. I am terrible." Her tone was sincere, but she knew the boy named Devin wouldn't let her get away that easily. Well, she had made two friends now. How odd it was, the rate she was meeting people. Oh well, at least she was. "But I'd be happy to watch," she mused, smiling playfully. Gesturing forwards, Layne stepped back a step, 'opening the floor' for Devin. She gave a small curtsey, and rose slowly, folding her hands. This should be fun.

Devin giggled and grabbed her hand before she could say anything. He twirled her under his arm then started to waltz with her. "You, me a waltz, no choice!"he said giggling. As they went side to side and around doing the correct steps he hoped. He didn't know. He didn't dance to formal dances much.

Zanna walked along the boardwalk, head leant against someone's shoulder. Oh yeah. She was leaning her head against a guy's shoulder. Of course, it would probably be more shocking if it was someone other than her closest bestest {yes, bestest} friend ever--Tyler. Yes. True, it had seemed for a while that the terrible twosome had forgotten about each other and 'moved on', but alas, that was never going to happen. "Devin!" "Layne!" "Drek!" The first word came from Zanna, the second from Tyler, and third from both of them. In a matter of seconds, they were both running rapidly to greet them. Ah yes. What a day.

Devin jumped and pulled Layne infront of him. Yes what a manly thing to do. But seeing as it was Zanna and Tyler he came out and ran straight for Zanna picking her up and twirling her. "Hey you two!"He said smiling then it turned into a frown. "Drek isn't here, I don't know where my twin is."He said shrugging and putting Zanna back down. "How are you two?"He asked.

Layne let out an inward sigh of relief as Tyler's familliar voice called out her name. She broke one hand from Devin's, but the other remained cupped in his, without complaint. In fact, Layne hadn't even noticed, and turned to face the two. "Tyler!" she exclaimed, raising her free hand to wave to him. Oh gosh, did she look like a slut. Holding hands with one guy, whilst greeting another. "Hey!" said Layne, also waving to the girl with Tyler. 'That must be his girlfriend', she thought, remembering how he had said he had a girlfriend. A bright and cheery smile spanned Layne's entire face. How fun.

"You lost your twin? What a shame," Zanna said, putting on a sad face. While being twirled, she giggled, and looked sad once more when she was put down. "What're you doing?" she asked, not to be nosy, but simply to know.
"How're you?" Tyler asked, both of Devin and of Layne. He looked around, sort of hoping that Noelle would show up. He rather doubted it, but a male was always permitted to hope, right? And if he wasn't...well, that would just be wrong.

"Dancing, with E.V. then Lovely Miss Layne, and now hopefully Zanna"He said grinning and offering a hand. He loved to dance. "I didn't loose him, he chose not to hang out with me."Devin said rather bitterly well not really said more like muttered just barely under a whisper so you'd have to strain to hear it.

Layne smiled as her name was mentioned. "That'd be me," she said, raising her hand so she and Zanna could meet. Turning her blue-grey gaze to Tyler, she answered his question. "Ahh not much. Just a typical day on the boardwalk; minus the dancing. And yourself?" She was glad to be seeing him again. The two hadn't talked for quite awhile, and it was fun being at the boardwalk like before when they had first met. Except Hope was there, of course.

Now, coming on the boardwalk was the one face you wouldn’t think to see out and about.
“Lizzie! You left me!” Were the first words slipping out of Adrienne’s glossed lips. And she was wearing…normal people clothes? Chea. Weird. She was fully clad in sky blue, from head to toe. It was a track-suit-and-sneaker kind of day. Sneakers of the white and sky blue Puma sort, and tracksuit of the sky blue low-cut pants and high-cut jacket sort. Cute. And she doesn’t look like a whore. Wow. Her hair was up to. Well, sort of. A section was slipped up in the front, and she was batting at the rest to keep it from stick to her glossed lips.

Zanna shrugged. "Well. You've got all of us now, so there's no need to be bitter," she reminded, looking from person to person. "Oh, hey. Nice to meetya, Layne. I'm sure you could guess, by process of elimination, but I'm Zanna," she greeted, shaking the girls hand. "Dancing as fine, as long as everyone dances," she added, looking pointedly at Tyler, who smiled sheepsihly.
"Zanna and I just got some Boba Tea. We were gonna go to the toy store, but we sort of got distracted by the congregation of people that we actually know," Tyler said, gesturing to the large group of people around them. "How's your dog...Hope, is it?"

Layne smiled warmly, shaking Zanna's hand. She seemed friendly enough. Stepping to the side, Layne allowed room for Devin and Zanna to dance. "Have fun!" she beamed, giggling. "Oh that's fun," said Layne, looking back to Tyler. "Toy shop? Omgsh I didn't know they had one!" Her new-ness was showing, and Layne, despite her wishes; blushed. She hated blushing, for the soul reason that it was so... embarassing! Changing the subject, Layne added: "Oh Hope's fine. She's probably at home right now tearing apart my throw pillows." Giggling, Layne glanced around her. It was pretty today. Though it seemed as though every day in the O.C was pretty.

Devin blushed he hadn't ment to sound bitter. "I'm not bitter"He said yawning. "No, You and me, we shall waltz!"He declared nad before she could say anything about it, started waltzing with her. "Toy store? I WANNA GO!"Devin said shouting, but before he started shouting he had the politeness to cover Zanna's ears.
