Layne sighed inwardly, leaving him to go look at LEGO's. So he was dedicated; she respected that. It's not like Layne planned on making Tyler cheat on his existing girlfriend. She (Layne) just wasn't lucky enough to be with him at the moment. Oh well, maybe a day would come where she would meet someone that could be like that. Everything she wanted. Maybe. Blinking a few times, Layne left her orange boa on and picked up a teddy bear, twisting it's fur in her fingers. She smiled at the bear, looking into it's glassy eyes. Fake was the first word that came to her mind.

"Honestly, I dunno. I think it's some sort of stupid plan he has to do something. I dunno. He just told me that we spend so much time together anyway. You know. Whatever. Let's ride the stick ponies!" she suggested, jumping up and down excitedly. "And if we can find some cowboy hats...that would be good too.
"I used to be obsessed with Legoes. That's all I used to ever do when I was younger. Build big random stuff. It was pretty fun," Tyler said, smiling as he picked up some of the familiar pieces. He felt the stare of the salespeople here watching him along with his friends--they thought that the group of teens was crazy...he knew it.

Sitting down on a wooden chair built much too small for her, Layne couldn't help but smile. She was surrounded by awesome people, what wasn't to love? Thoughts of her old friends haunted her, and she found herself blinking back tears. They always used to do stuff like this together. Joining her cheek with cupped palm, Layne glanced over to the workers. Yes, they were staring at the bunch, but so what? Who cared? None of them, it seemed.

"Yes!"Devin said grabing to hats he found. He threw one to Zanna and put the other one on grabbing a stick pony. "Hey there little lady."he said in his best cowboy voice as he 'rode' up to Zanna. Drek nodded "Devin never saw the fun in them, but I could spend hours making things out of them!"He said and he got to work making a pony. All the talk of ponies must have gotten him.

Zanna grinned. "Hey there...umm...what do the girls call the guys?" she asked, not knowing. "Um. Oh, yeah. Howdy partner," she said, her voice trying to imitate a cowgirls, but not really making it. Riding closer to him, she giggled a little bit more.
Tyler nodded. He knew the feeling. People always asked him what the fun in Legoes were. Of course, those people probably didn't have open enough or creative enough minds to conceive that making things out of Legoes could actually be fun. "Layne, why dont'cha come join us?" he asked, seeing her sullenly looking at a plastic-eyed teddy bear.

Layne looked up in the direction her name was called, her eyes cloudy from the tears welled up in them. She got them to go down, somehow, and nodded, attempting to remove herself from the chair. Upon doing this, Layne joined the two. "LEGO's eh? Never played with them..." One; she was a girl. Two; she had no brothers. Three; she had no sibilings period. What reason would there be to play with them? "So um, what do you do with them?" she asked sheepishly, holding her newfound teddy close to her heart.

"You build stuff!"Said Drek smiling up at her. "Thats what you do!"He giggled "You should go find a crown for our friend Tyler, he can be Prince of the day."Drek added laughing. Devin looked at Zanna and laughed. "Lets rid pardner, we got villians to slay and we have to save the day!"Devin declared 'galloping' off down a random row of toys.

"You put them together and build things," Tyler said, sort of shocked that she didn't know what to do with them. Demonstrating, he added, "Like this," and held a pair of LEGO's up and then put them together. "Most people make castles and buildings. I can't really make anything else..." he admitted sheepishly, barely avoiding the blush that threatened his boyishly pale cheeks.
Zanna giggled a little bit and raced after Devin. "Wait up, therrr, buddy!" she called, slowing down a little bit. "Which villains need the slayin'?" she asked, slowing her gallop to more of a canter. Or whatever it was called.

"Ohh," Layne nodded, not fully understanding the fun of it. "Good idea," she beamed, referring to Drek's suggestion. Skipping over the aisles of toys, Layne searched for a tiara. Plucking a shiny plastic one off the shelf, she galavanted over to Tyler, leaning in from behind him and setting it on his head. She then whispered in his ear, from behind him, "Suprise" Raising to a mere 5'3, she giggled, examining him in the tiara. "Jaw juss" said Layne, stiffling a giggle. He looked cute.

"Them be there ones that need there slayin'!"Devin said loosing himself in the speach and turning to her shrugging and rideing towards the three people. "Hold up villains!"We here good guys are gonna stop you!"He declared laughing.

"Put yer weapons down and yer arms behind your head. Hand over the...teddy bear and no one gits hurt," Zanna said, managing not to giggle relentlessly as she continued to use the strange speech. She was glad she didn't actually talk like this--she'd think she was weird. What would OTHER people think?
Brushing a strand of hair from his face, Tyler beamed and pretended as though he was actually a prince. "Oh no! We're being attacked! Hide! Run for your lives! Don't give up the bear--he's all we've got!" he shouted, jumping upward.

Layne giggled, clutching her teddy for dear life. "Eeeek!" she exclaimed, hiding behind a makeshift castle the boy's had built.

Drek jumped up and grabed two toy swords. He took one and threw the other to Devin who caught it and dropped the horse. "This town ain't big enough for the two of us"Devin sad spreading his legs and walked with them spread. "Draw Pardner!"He cried and they began to duel with the plastic swords.

[[unpause. =D]] Layne giggled, clutching her teddy for dear life. "Eeeek!" she exclaimed, hiding behind a makeshift castle the boy's had built. She tucked the stuffed animal behind one of the mini wooden chairs and placed a sequined headpiece on top of her head. "Off with their heads!" she cried, going along with their playful act. She glanced over to Tyler and said "If I don't make it, I want you to have my teddy, Prince Tyler." With that, Layne nodded and ducked as a sword wooshed by her head. Now /this/, she hadn't done with her friends back home.
