Channel smiled widely and giggled. "Why no grinding?" She wanted to get her grind on with Ryan. She than sighed at the order she was almost last and being the bitch that she was, she wanted to go first but she smiled widely to assure everyone that it didn't bother her and she wasn't like that at all. Even though everyone know that she was like that. Channel than heard the father part and groaned. "Um..Alexa. My father won't be able to attended. He is on a business trip and won't be back for a while. So how about my brother instead..?" Channel than shot her her big brown doe like eye that got everybody to melt to there knees and fell well..sorry for her.

Nick showed up about forty minutes after his sister. He was late so what? He had a horrible hang over and didn't want to go to a dumb dancing lesson and have to deal with it. He showed up in tan slacks and a beige button up shirt with tan DC'S. He gave his dad's furry keys to the valet guy and than headed in. He saw all the girls and knew he was supposed to go there. He sighed and said under his breath "I might as well get this over with." When he walked in he noticed that he was the only guy that had even bothered to show up. "Great.." he mumbled. He than moodily walked over to a chair and sat down. He would get up and do something when ever he damn pleased. His head was throbbing and he was not in the mood at all.

A loud creek was heard throughout the girl-filled room as Jimmy Carlin slowly stepped inside. His eyes became wide when he stared towards the many females and also upon hearing the disturbance he had made. A hand moved up, palm facing Alexa, in show of apologies. He then scanned the crowd, his eyes finally falling on that of Spencer. No, Jimmy didn’t have a date, and really he could care-less. He didn’t even /want/ to go to the cotillion, let alone the dance lessons.
With a heavy sigh, Jimmy slowly made his way towards his sister, looking around her for an available chair. Upon finding one he pulled it up next to his sister and sat down, smiling towards the people he passed. Jimmy had shown up in a pair of black slacks and a white long-sleeved, button-up shirt. How the hell should he know how to dress for dance lessons? Jimmy thought it ridiculous that the men /had/ to come anyways, only the girls had to look good, not the guys, well for dancing, that is. Leaning forwards in his chair, his elbows atop his knees, Jimmy looked back towards Alexa, giving her a look of attention, though he was not at all there mentally.

Lily quietly creeped in, trying not to make it known that she was...VERY late. She sat down at a vacant seat and listened intently. She heard Channel's remark about the grinding and laughed. I could see why they didn't want grinding at this extravagant party. Too racy for eyes young and old. She flipped one of her bangs back as she scanned the room. Wow. Basically no guys. What a shame.

Dream listened to Alexa and watched at everyones expressions. E.V seemed very excited, but no one else really gave any pacific look.
Standing next to her best friend she layed her head on Channel's shoulder and folded her arms across her chest. Looking over towards to the door she saw Nick walk in and gave him a slight wave. Soon after someone else walked into the room.
Dream didn't know him at all, but she had to say he was quite cute, no VERY cute. Giving a small towards his way she lifted her head off Channels shoulder and put all her attention back on Alexa.

Alexa shot Channel the equivalent of what was sure to be a death glare in the world of class--but nobody would ever be able to tell lest they were recieving the glance. "No grinding, because you're becoming adults. The waltz is more... classy. N0t so very sexually charged." She snapped, smoothing her dress again. "And yes, your brother will have to do." Again with the ice queen voice. Rachel couldn't contain her giggles as she folded her arms across her chest, intensifying her smirk. Her mother--minus the looks--was a lot like her. Alexa chose that moment to speak again. "Well, everyone take your places on the dance floor. Boys that have decided to arrive may ask partners. Girls that do not have partners will simulate."

Hearing Alexa’s further directions Jimmy quickly stood up and took his Spencer’s hand, leading her, well, dragging her practically, to the dance floor. He didn’t want to be placed in a position to pick who he should dance with. He wasn’t even sure if anyone there /wanted/ to be his partner, so therefore he merely picked Spencer, seeing that Ryder hadn’t shown up anyways. Wait, Ryder wasn’t there. Then why was he? Whatever. He would kick himself in the ass later, but now, it was time to dance.
Stepping onto the floor, Jimmy let go of his sisters hand, letting his own drop to his sides as he looked around at all of the present females. Sure, some looked really good, but Jimmy figured that most of the girls already had dates so he wasn’t going to try hitting on anyone. Turning his attentions back to Spencer, he smiled briefly before shoving his hands into his pockets.

Being literally pulled from her chair, Spencer gave Jimmy a deceiving look. Oh was he going to pay. What a jerk. He could’ve at least /asked/. After the two had been set upon the dance floor, she looked back at her brother, catching his smile, but not returning it. Instead, she folded her arms across her chest and looked back at Alexa, not focusing her attentions on anyone else who was there. She wasn’t in the mood to talk, let alone even be there. She intentionally waited for further instructions from Rachel’s mom. She only wanted to get this over with.

Alexa glanced at Jimmy and Spencer's slight "commotion," so to speak, and flashed a knowing glance at Rachel, offering up a shy, deceiving smile. Wait, a knowing look? What the fuck? That was first grade, c'mon! One lousy kiss! One! "Siblings should not be dancing together, seeing as that will not be happening at the actual cotillion. Rachel, please step on the dance floor." Alexa instructed, waving Jimmy and Spencer away from each other and off to the sidelines as Rachel was made a demonstration piece. She narrowed her eyes and nearly strutted onto the floor, flicking her hair back as she did so, knowing full well that everyone was looking at her. Rachel rarely did things without an audience, and she had grown to love it... dearly.

Dream listened to Alexa's next intructions and rolled her eyes. There were only three fuckin guy at the moment. Not everyones going to have a dancing partner today unless the guys start showing up, well more of them.
Watching Spencer and Jimmy she thought they must've been a couple or something. There goes my chances. She thought to herself. She looked around and wondered who she should dance with. Within in a few seconds Alexa spoke up again. Listening to her she was really surprised to find out that Spencer and Jimmy were actually sibling. Thank god
Dream turned to Channel and whispered in her ear. "Who are you going to dance with missy?" she asked and gave a small grin.

Leon sat in silence listening to the over-dressed women standing on the stairs. He was quite bored and just wanted to start the dancing and get it over and done with.
Not a lot of people had shown up, mostly were girls and so far only three boys counting himself.
When 'Alexa' had finished her instructions Leon stood up and pulled his sister up with him. Looking around at the girls he didn't know who the hell to dance with. No one was probably really wanting to dance with him.
Angelina listened to everything was said. When Rachels mother went through the list her name was called first. Great she thought to herself. All eyes were going to be on her FIRST! Why couldn't someone else go before her? God!
When Leon pulled her up she looked around at all the beautiful girls and, um, the three guys. She surly wasn't going to ask anyone they'd have to ask her, but they'd probably ask the other girls first. Sighing to herself she leaned up against the wall and pushed her bangs from out of her eye.

Having been told that he and Spencer were not to dance with each other, Jimmy held back the urge to piss Alexa off. Sure, he had known her almost all of his life, but right now she was acting like a total bitch. It ran in the family. A quick glance was made towards Rachel. She looked good, or so Jimmy thought, but he then slowly walked back towards his chair, his gaze shifting from one girl to the next and also taking note that he was one of only three lousy guys who had bothered to show up. Upon reaching his chair that he had occupied only minutes earlier, his hands went back into the depths of his pockets, grabbing hold of the keys that he had refused to give to the guy outside.

Spencer quickly followed her brother off the floor after a slight shrug towards Alexa’s comment. She didn’t really care and right now she was at the point of breaking. On the outside she was playing it cool, but in the inside, oh the inside, she was burning. About to just up and leave the room. She didn’t want to be there, not one part of her did. Where the hell was Ryder? Why was she just standing there? Why was she...there? Spencer closed her eyes for a brief second before opening them and taking her seat once again, settling her eyes on Rachel.

Once again, the Schellenburg family had brought an upset to the room. Lauren glanced up at Alexa, trying her hardest(though she didn't really need to around here) to have Rachel, her oh so dearest daughter be the center of attention. she obviously knew that there were only a couple guys, that stupid sibling thing was totally messed up. Spencer now looked distraught about her boyfriend not being here and Jimmy now had to dance with rachel. Of course this was a doing to the Schellenburg family, I guess they just can't help themselves now can they.
Lauren's head tipped back slightly and her eyelids started to droop. Alexa's droning on about sibling nonsense was now only a murmur in her ear. Matt hadn't bothered to show up and neither did half the other boys apparently and along with Spencer she didn't have a boy to dance with, but of course Rachel had to be dancing with someone.
Waking up from her little doze off she pushed herself off the uncomfortable chair she was sitting upon and went over and accompanied Spencer, maybe she could hang out with Noelle too, it would be a lot better then to listen this crap they were going on with.
She made her way over to spencer and took one finger and tapped her should gently to get her attention. She smiled before the girl turned around.

'What the fuck?' Was the only thought running throught Elizabeth's head. Where the hell was Cole. Augh. This was the only place Elizabeth could really out shine most people in the room. Not having a partner would not allow her to out shine anyone. No, this was not happening. Elizaebth didn't move and shot a 'Whta The Hell' glance at Rachel who would surely...or at leaste hopefully give her some kind of insight about what to do.
Slightly tapping her foot on the ground, her cell phone viberted inher Channel bowling bag. Looking at the phone, she saw it was Adrienne. Shit. No, this was Double Shit.

After a flushed felling of calmness had run throughout her body, accessing all anger, a light tap was felt on Spencer shoulder. Almost startled, she turned her head quickly, noting it had been Lauren who had tapped her. Spencer noticed the smile and returned one to the other girl. So, Lauren was here without Matt, E.V was without Cole, Channel without Ryan, and Rachel without Danny, but that didn’t seem to matter, considering she would get any of the guys to dance with her anyways. Feeling over ruled, Spencer let out a deep sigh, letting her hands fall heavily into her lap, her palms slapping her bare legs and made a soft clapping noise. “So, where’s your guy?” she asked Lauren, blocking Alexa’s voice from her mind and trying to make her time here a little worth while.

Lauren gave out a little sarcastic laugh." Well lets just say he promised he would be here.." She rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly.." I had a feeling he wouldn't come.I guess he is just not that kind of guy..". She looked at Spencer and started to laugh..." sorry.." she said." but wouldn't it be funny if Alexa caught two girls waltzing together?" Not waiting for Spencers reply, through a burst of laughing she simply spoke the words. "may I have this dance?" Her palm lay out flat as if waiting for something in return. She grinned at Spencer, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
